Introduction
The Delegator's Union is a decentralized platform that empowers smaller DAO stakeholders by pooling their resources and voting power, addressing power imbalances, low participation, and fragmented governance.
Core Concept
Delegators delegate voting power to a union, which votes on their behalf based on collective member preference — amplifying individual voting power so even small stakeholders have a meaningful voice in governance.
Engineering & Architecture
Built smart contracts in Solidity (tested and deployed with Hardhat) to manage unions and voting mechanics, with Ethers.js handling on-chain interaction. The Next.js + Tailwind frontend is backed by a Node.js/Express API and MongoDB for off-chain data, hosted on Vercel and DigitalOcean, with Akave (IPFS) for decentralized metadata storage.
